Breathing Deep And Being Thankful!

There are times when what is needed is the simple act of breathing deeply and being thankful.  It is quite easy to do  in a moment of happiness or joy, but what about a moment of sadness or anger, can it be done as seamlessly?  Well, the answer should be yes, even more so.  It is when we are sad or angry that are need to be thankful is greatest.  Being thankful focuses your attention on the wonders of your life, the beauty of the people that are around you, and all that you have. God has given us the gift of thankfulness.  Why not accept that gift and bring it to the forefront of your consciousness and allow it to take up residence. Breathing deep and being thankful is an outward sign of abundant inner strength.

Thought For The Week….

What Faith Can Do

Faith in yourself, the divine, and the universe is what you need today.  In a world full of negative people and situations you must have faith that all is well in your world.  Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.  Have faith that in the long run things will work out in your favor.  Have faith that you are doing the right thing.  Know who you are, be strong in your convictions and watch the heavens open up with help and support.  Faith can move mountains, part seas, and awaken in others an awareness of what is right and wrong.  Watch, with eyes wide open, as the miracles unfold in your life today.

Thought For The Week…

Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace

Asking For Help

To ask for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.  People are often portrayed as someone or something different than who they actually are.  Asking for help is when you get it.  Do not be afraid, even the most spiritual of beings, even if living a physical existence, need help and ask for assistance.  The day to day living of a spiritual life is at most, aw inspiring, and at its least, lonely and overwhelming.  It is what we do at our lowest moments that define us both physically and spiritually.  Ask for help directly, there is no shame, and I promise, you will get a response.

Thought For The Week…..

“It is what we do at our lowest moments that define us both physically and spiritually”

Accepting That Something Is Only Temporary

What you are going through and the job that you are doing is only temporary. Take heart and believe within your heart that this is only a temporary place of being.  Far greater things await you, but there is something to be learned from your experience right now.  Forget what it is that you will be doing, for that is already known. Go with the matter at hand.  Do the work that you must do right now, remembering that all things have their season and your season will come to pass.  Life is to be lived and there is fun to be had, even in your present state of being, abundance abounds.  Accept the temporary assignment with great love and joy!  It will change quite rapidly in the coming days!

Thought For The Week….

In your present state of being, abundance abounds!

Lessons And Moving On!

Move on, move on, move on!  Take your lessons to heart, acknowledge and accept them.  When you do that, life will propel you forward in unexpectedly wonderful ways.  Lessons can be painful, but mostly, when accepted, they are just a simple blip on the radar screen.  We need to notice them, chuckle a bit at their presence, and move on!  Getting past all of life’s lessons is truly what living is all about and discovering the results of those learned lessons is what will bring us a deep sense of joy! Cheers to learning your lessons!

Thought For The Week…..

Life is a series of lessons, once learned and accepted, propel us forward in miraculous ways!

How To Begin Your Day On A Positive Note

You must always remember that each of us has the power to change things in an instant.  To begin your day on a positive note, you must end the previous one on a positive one.  No matter how good or bad a day may or may not be, you can decide how it ends.  Even to say, thank goodness, that was a terrible day and I just do not want to do it again, changes a negative to a positive in a single second. When a day is great and we wish for another, it keeps that positive momentum going.  Remember, that while we sleep, we rest, so shouldn’t you give yourself the chance to dream of every wonderful possibility and bring that positive energy into each  new day?  Beginning your day on a positive note is truly that simple.

Thought For The Week…..

If you end each day on a positive note, then each day will start off on one!

Honoring Our Spirit

How does one honor their spirit?  You honor your spirit by simply listening to it and making a shift in the direction that it is leading you.  Your spirit senses the subtle changes in your moods, your reactions to certain circumstances long before you ever realize them yourself.  Adjustments are made on the spiritual plain and your direction is simply altered to adjust to what is best for you.  By honoring this movement, we honor ourselves and our path becomes clear.

Thought For The Week……

By honoring the movement of spirit, we honor ourselves, and our path becomes clear

Taking A Second Look At Change

Change….a scary, often painful journey for some.  It is easy to run from.  It does not have to be this way.  It should be viewed as a joyful event, just as a wedding, a baby’s birth, or a new home is.  There are many emotions associated with these events, both negative and positive, but the end result is that of joy.  Take a second look at change.  In reality, change only occurs when our soul has granted permission.  Yes, your soul has given permission for changes to occur.  It is how you react to those changes that determines the outcome.

Thought For The Week…

Change only occurs when our soul has granted permission

Balancing Our Spirit And Nature!

We have come to understand that our natures, both physical and spiritual, need to be in sync.  Likewise, there needs to be balance between our human existence and that of Mother Nature.  If we strip all of nature away for our own pleasure and need, we will eventually be left with nothing.  As we strip from nature, with no regard to what surrounds us, know that we are also stripping away the beautiful nature of the living creatures and thus our own spirit.  Our spirit lives in the song of the birds, the peace of the deer, and the abundance of the rabbit, When we strip their ability to do what comes naturally, we strip from ourselves our ability to live in our natural state, that of  peace, joy, and love.

Thought For The Week……

Our spirit lives in the song of the birds, without that song, we are nothing!

Do Not Be Afraid Of Being Happy!

Be happy and joyful, full of life, love, and living.  To be happy in the midst of those who are not is a skill, a mindset, that you must practice on a continual basis.  You can be around people who are sad, negative, and angry and still be happy.  Do not feel guilty or ashamed.  Understand and accept that to be in a state of happiness means that you must have gone through a state of sadness, that is how it works. Do not minimize the pain that you have been through just because someone else is in that same place.  You have worked hard to get to a place of happiness, let no soul take that away from you.  Do not be afraid to be happy!  Happiness is catching!  You might just become responsible for bringing about change in those around you.  Be happy!

Thought for the week….

If you are happy, be happy!
