INTUITIVE AND SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE

Perseverance, Patience, And Trust

Some equate perseverance and patience with suffering or just getting by.  It should equate with trust.  Trust yourself, your feelings, your reactions, your choices, for they are the correct ones for your situation.  When a challenge is thrown at you, go in the opposite direction.  Be glad, be patient, persevere, and trust.  The challenge is a reminder that you are going in the right direction.  The right choice has been made and you are working through all that needs to be worked through.  Go with it, ride the wave of challenge and know that what you are doing matters!  To be complacent is no fun at all.

Thought For The Week…..

“To be complacent is no fun at all”

Allowing The Universe To Work

The universe is always working!  Just as a GPS will adjust your route when a wrong turn is taken, so does the universe.  The difference between a GPS rerouting and the universe adjusting is time.  You must always give the universe time to catch up and redirect correctly.  Do not be in a rush for the rerouting, you don’t want to miss the turn.  If you do, it is just one big old pain, for everyone! Stay the course, listen, and most certainly, take direction from the universe!  It really only has your best interest at heart.

Thought For The Week……..

“Do not be in a rush for redirection, you don’t want to miss the turn”

Wisdom And A Happy New Year!

The sequence of events.  Courage, saying yes, strength, saying no,  joy, finding inner peace, and finally, wisdom, knowing that your journey is at an end.  Wisdom moves you forward, it is a lightweight suitcase that accompanies you to the next phase, the next journey, the next book.  Wisdom closes doors and opens them all in the same breath.  Take with you only what you can not leave behind.  What were your first thoughts for the new year?  Who were the people that you thought of?  What are the things that you cherish most?  There is wisdom in packing light!  Happy New Year!

Thought For The Week…..

“There is wisdom in packing light”

Joy

Joy is a deep seeded sense of self.  An acknowledgement of one’s inner peace. Joy is something to strive for, a feeling to return to when there is chaos surrounding you.  Joy is a contentment in the state of your being.  Joy goes beyond the present, it takes care of the past, and looks forward to the future. Joy is not of the material plain, but one of spirit.  Take heart and find joy, for all is going according to divine plan.

Thought For The Week….

“Joy is a deep seeded sense of self”

Strength Is Saying No

While courage is saying yes, strength is saying no!  No, to being someone we are not.  No, to doing something that we can not afford.  No, to doing something that may hurt someone.  No, to accepting the bad behavior of others, even of those closet to us.  No, no, no!  The strength to say no comes from a source deep within.  A source that can be tapped into at any given moment.  Strength is standing tall in our convictions when all else is crumbling around us! There is kindness, compassion, and love in saying no!  When we say no, we are teaching others how to treat us!

Thought For The Week……

“Courage is saying yes, strength is saying no”

Praying For Courage

Courage is the ability to do something that frightens you.  Pray that you have the courage to do the right thing, the courage to chose joy,  and the courage to persist.  Pray that you have the courage to live with your own truth and to make it an everyday occurrence.  Pray that you have the courage to live with an open heart and be willing to love, to forgive, and to move on.  Pray that you have the courage to laugh everyday and the courage to cry when you must.  Pray that you have the courage to right any wrongs and the courage to accept the consequences.  Pray that you have the courage to embrace life and all its beauty and the courage to learn life’s lessons as quickly as possible.  Lastly, pray that you have the courage to love yourself with no exceptions!

Thought For The Week…..

“To pray for courage is the most courageous act”

The Faith And Light Within Us

It is the Christmas season, the season of Advent.  No matter what your beliefs or your stand in regards to God, it is the time that we acknowledge Christ and His birth or, at least, the possibility and hope of His presence.  No matter what your belief or your standing, now is a time of light and faith.  That is what Christmas is. The coming of light into the world.  If you can not bring yourself to look for the light in Christ, then look within yourself.  Find the light and faith within you, let it grow deep and have it be a shining star for others to see.  Faith takes practice, especially faith in oneself.

Thought For The Week….

“Find the light and faith within you, let it grow deep, and have it be a shining star for others to see”

Being Alone Is Time Well Spent

People are afraid of being alone.  Why is that?  You can be in a room full of people, in a marriage, or a friendship and still be alone.  Being alone is not the same as being lonely.  When we spend time alone it is an opportunity to enjoy our own company.  The question then becomes, do we like our own company?  It is only when we accept and find joy in who and what we are that the fear of being alone dissolves.  Being alone is time well spent.  It is a time to sort out, refresh, and reboot ourselves.  It is a time to be selfish and self-centered.  Imagine that, giving ourselves permission to put our own needs and wants first.  A wonderful thought that we need to put into practice!

Thought For The Week……

“The question then becomes, do we like our own company?”

Thanksgiving…A Moment To Reflect

Food for thought on this beautiful Thanksgiving morning.  Thanksgiving is traditionally about giving thanks, but why not dig a little deeper.  As you are roasting your turkey or sitting with family and friends, be reflective.  Think about last year’s Thanksgiving, where you were, who you were with, and what you were going through.  Have things changed, have you moved forward?  Have you cried more, or laughed more? Being reflective of the details of your life certainly will put a new spin on things.  Are you having the Thanksgiving that you want?  If not, change it, the day has only begun!  The Thanksgiving that we have is a reflection of who and where we are in our lives.

Thought For The Day……

“The Thanksgiving that we have is a reflection of who and where we are in our lives”

Finding Our Way Home

We all get lost, we all lose our perspective, and we all lose our voice at different moments in our lives.  This is a natural occurrence and a blessing in disguise.  For we can not find our way home, home to our true selves, without the instance of actually being lost.  There is divine truth in the saying “you have to lose to know how to win”.  You have to be lost, to find your way home!  I have certainly been lost, but the power of finding myself has far outweighed any trials that I have gone through to get there!  As Thanksgiving approaches, give thanks for being lost!

Thought For The Week….

“the power of finding oneself will far outweigh any trials that you have to go through to get there”
